MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST

If you have made it this far then you probably want to know how Pako, Spike and Jonathan are doing. The sad news is that Spike died shortly after we moved to Oregon of squamous cell carcinoma in his sinuses. Poor guy. We all miss him very much. Pako and he were very good friends.

Jonathan finished his residency in Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Mayo Clinic. That's ENT (ear, nose and throat surgery), to the uninitiated. We moved to Southern Oregon in July 2006 so he could join a fabulous practice in Medford/Ashland.

This is us (gosh, I think that was 1999!) at Rippling Brook above the Green River in Lodore Canyon in NW Colorado. Jonathan has guided river rafting trips on the Green and Yampa Rivers in Colorado and Utah for many years. We make an annual pilgrimage out there for a dose of red rock and waves. We can’t wait to check out the rivers in Oregon.

Here we are on a bluebird morning at Alta, Utah, in January 2006. Skiing is pretty much our favorite thing to do and we're looking forward to becoming very familiar with Mt. Ashland.
